Your Guide to Fair Play in The Scape

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fair experience for all players in The Scape, we’ve established the following Codes of Conduct. By participating in the game, you agree to adhere to these principles. Violation of these codes may result in consequences as outlined in the "Consequences of Violations" section below.

1. Respect Others

• Treat all players and community members with kindness, dignity, and respect.
• Refrain from using abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory language or behavior in The Scape’s community spaces (e.g., Feeds, Chat) or its social media channels (e.g., Discord, Twitter).
• Foster a welcoming environment where everyone feels safe to explore, engage, and enjoy the game.
  

2. Play Fair

• Compete honestly and uphold the spirit of fair play.
• Do not use cheats, exploits, bots, or unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Use the game map strategically without blocking or griefing other players’ opportunities through location hacks or other cheating methods.
• Participate in quests and battles in a way that enhances your journey without diminishing the experience for others.
• Report bugs or vulnerabilities to [email protected] rather than exploiting them.

Actions that our community consider as an action of cheating:

• Logging into the same account simultaneously on multiple devices (e.g., two phones or a phone and tablet) to duplicate rewards, interact with map elements in different locations, or exploit game mechanics.
• Disrupts gameplay balance, provides an unfair advantage, and may corrupt player data.
• Immediate account suspension.

2. Multiple Account Usage

• Players are strictly limited to one account per user and device at any given time. Creating or using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, such as accumulating additional Freedom Shards (FDS), is prohibited.
• Undermines game balance and rewards system.
• Permanent ban of all associated accounts; revocation of illicit rewards or FDS.

3. Geolocation Hacking

• Using apps or tools to fake GPS locations to access distant map elements, such as shard clusters, resource nodes, or Rifts, without physically being in the area.
• Bypasses core geo-adventure mechanics and disrupts competition.
• Permanent ban; revocation of illicit rewards.

4. Exploiting Bugs and Glitches

• Intentionally exploiting in-game bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage, such as duplicating Freedom Shards, skipping combat phases, or bypassing game challenges.
• Damages the in-game economy and honest players’ experience.
• Revocation of rewards; potential account suspension.

• Using scripts, bots, or third-party tools to automate gameplay actions, such as farming shard clusters, completing battles, or collecting resources without manual input.
• Removes human challenge and imbalances progression.
• Immediate suspension; removal of ill-gotten rewards.

• Sharing your account credentials with others to allow multiple people to play on the same account, often to bypass cooldowns or achieve higher rewards.
• Creates unfair advantages.
• Account suspension or restrictions.

• Using unfair tactics to repeatedly monopolize shard clusters, Rifts, or high-value resource nodes, such as coordinating with multiple accounts or camping nodes excessively to prevent others from accessing them.
• Disrupts community dynamics.
• Loss of contested rewards; warnings or penalties.

• Any attempts to manipulate in-game systems or economy, including circumventing cooldowns for quests or battles or using unauthorized methods to inflate XP, Freedom Shards, or item rewards.
• Undermines game balance and progression.
• Revocation of manipulated rewards; potential suspension.

• Abusing blockchain or NFT-related features, such as trading NFTs or Freedom Shards outside authorized channels or attempting to duplicate NFTs or use counterfeit assets.
• Damages trust in the Web3 ecosystem and creates security risks for other players.
• Revocation of fraudulent NFTs/FDS; permanent ban.

How We Detect Cheating

• Real-Time Monitoring: Automated systems track suspicious activities (e.g., geolocation changes, excessive resource collection).
• Player Reports: Report suspected cheating via in-game tools or [email protected].
• Periodic Audits: Regular data checks ensure integrity.
  

3. Maintain Integrity

• Do not engage in fraudulent activities, such as scams or unauthorized NFT trading outside the Freedom platform.
• Act with honesty in all interactions within the game and its community.
  

4. Protect Personal Information

• Respect others’ privacy; do not share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others.
• Never share your account details with anyone.
• Avoid phishing attempts; only interact with official channels (e.g., [email protected], verified social media).

5. Preserve the Game Environment

• Avoid spamming, advertising, or promoting unrelated content in The Scape community spaces (e.g., Feeds, Chat) or social media channels.
• Keep discussions relevant and constructive.

6. Respect Intellectual Property

• Do not use, reproduce, or distribute game assets, designs, or intellectual property without permission.
• NFTs and in-game items must only be used as intended within The Scape or Freedom platform.

7. Engage Positively in the Community

• Contribute constructively to discussions in the Scape community Chat, Feeds, Discord, and related social platforms.
• Help newcomers feel welcome and assist others when possible.
• Report violations to [email protected].

8. Adhere to Legal and Ethical Standards

• Respect real-world exploration; stay mindful of your surroundings and safety while engaging with map-based elements.
• Do not trespass on private property or engage in unsafe behaviors while playing.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Avoid actions that harm the game, its community, or its reputation.
  

9. Exhibit Good Manners and Positive Attitudes

• Maintain courteous and positive behavior in the Feeds and Chat of the Scape community.
• Refrain from bad manners or negative attitudes, including but not limited to:
  • Rudeness or disrespectful comments toward other players.
  • Excessive negativity, trolling, or toxic behavior that disrupts community harmony.
  • Intentional provocation or arguments that detract from a welcoming environment.
• Players who fail to uphold these standards may be removed from Feeds and Chat or face further penalties.

Consequences of Violations

Violations of these Codes of Conduct may result in:

• Warnings or temporary restrictions (e.g., 7–30 day suspensions from Feeds, Chat, or gameplay).
• Permanent account suspension or ban, including loss of access to community features.
• Revocation of in-game items, Freedom Shards, or NFTs obtained through prohibited means.
• Legal action for severe offenses (e.g., fraud, intellectual property theft).We reserve the right to determine the appropriate consequence based on the severity and frequency of the violation.
